Star Scroll Enhancement Guide

Build the Star Scroll route first: unlock potentials, decide when to gamble for 12-star gloves, then move into later Starforce Hunting Zone checks once your account can actually benefit from it.

Base route adapted from Rumii's Star Scroll Enhancement Order. Use this page for scroll priority first, then use the Starforce Hunting Zone guide when you are planning a limited EXP attempt.

Short version

Star Scroll order comes before Star Force Hunting Zone planning.

The practical route is 3-star all gear, 5-star all gear, build into 7-star and glove attempts, then decide between safer 10-star all gear or an earlier 12-star glove push.

Quick order

Use this as the default Star Scroll route.

1

3-star everything

Unlock potential cubes on each gear slot. This is the first real account-wide breakpoint.

2

5-star everything

Take the cheap early power spike. If you have Legendary top or bottom, include them in this pass.

3

7-star key gear

Legendary gear scales well here, but keep gloves moving. Rumii's route calls out 7-star non-Epic gear and testing glove luck toward 10-star.

4

Choose the glove fork

At this point, decide whether to push 12-star gloves early or take the safer 10-star everything route first.

5

10-star everything

At 10-star, substat scaling jumps from 10% to 25%. Strong rings and necklaces can move up because good substats scale well.

6

12-star order after gloves

Default order is gloves, then cape/bottom, then ring/top. Adjust when a slot has much better lines than the rest of your account.

Main fork

Gloves matter because they unlock the bonus potential plan.

Rumii's Part 2 TL;DR pushes light spenders and F2P players toward 12-star gloves after 5-star because gloves are the Crit Damage slot and 12-star unlocks the option to use Bonus Potential Cubes. Upon unlocking 12-star, you can exchange Red Diamonds for Bonus Potential Cubes and use them on the glove bonus potential slot.

Adjustment notes

Do not follow the order blindly when the item quality is uneven.

Legendary gear High-enhancement legendary gear scales well, but the cost climbs sharply. A route can be right and still be too expensive for your scroll supply.
Strong substats Gear with exceptional 2-line or 3-line damage stats can move ahead of a cleaner chart order, especially once Star Scroll scaling starts multiplying those lines.
Ring and necklace Rings and necklaces are easier to obtain with strong substats, so they are efficient Star Scroll targets when the lines are already good.

Next guide

Star Force Hunting Zone - What is it and what to do.

Star Force Hunting Zone is a limited EXP run. After the Star Scroll route gives you enough Star Force for the tier you want, plan the ticket around booster stacking, threshold tiers, and overall kill count during the attempt.

Checklist

Use this before spending Star Scrolls.

  1. Finish the cheap Star Scroll breakpoints first. Get the account through 3-star and 5-star before obsessing over the Star Force Hunting Zone.
  2. Decide the glove risk. If failed 10 to 12-star attempts would stall the account, go 10-star all gear first.
  3. Check item quality. Move strong rings, necklaces, or 3-line damage pieces up when their lines are clearly better.
  4. Move to the Hunting Zone guide later. Use the separate Star Force Hunting Zone page when you are planning a limited EXP attempt.
